Property Prices
First quarter (January to March 2009) statistics, released in April 2009, by Edinburgh Solicitors Property centre (ESPC) shows an average West Lothian residential property price of £155,842. This is an annual fall of 11.7% from £176,035 in Quarter 1 2008. The average house price in East Central Scotland decreased by 7.2% annually in the first three months of 2009. The fall means the average selling price of a property in the region now stands at £180,545.
