- West Lothian has a variety of arts venues including Livingston's Howden Park Centre which has a packed line-up of entertainment including musical and theatre performances. Bathgate's Regal Community Theatre houses a 200-seater auditorium for theatre, music and dance performances as well as an 80-seater cinema, complete with original seating and features.

Shopping
Big spender or window shopper, whatever your preferred style, West Lothian delivers all the retail therapy you could want. For starters there are two modern shopping centres - Livingston Designer Outlet Centre and The Centre - which between them, offer hundreds of brand names in fashion, sportswear, footwear and interiors. Then there are Linlithgow, Bathgate and Broxburn town centres; each one offering a combination of High Street names and specialist shops. A traditional thrice weekly market takes place in Bathgate as well as a Farmers Markets in Linlithgow.
