Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT)
Grants for young people 18 - 25 years old starting new businesses, forming part of a package of business training, advice, information and other support. - up to £1,000 grant per person (or up to £3,000 per group)
- applicants must be currently unemployed and of limited means
- usually awarded in conjunction with a PSYBT low-interest loan of up to £5000 for stock, equipment or working capital for young people (18-25 years old) starting or expanding a business who have particular difficulties in raising finance from other sources.

Childminders Business Start up Grant.
A grant of up to £250 is available for individuals who need financial support in order to meet the Care Commission's requirements of registration as a childminder. Applications must be made prior to being fully registered with the Care Commission.
