Business partners Jason Halliday and Paul Downie are just two of the young entrepreneurs who started a business taking advantage of the support available from Business Gateway and the Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT).

Jason and Paul, both 22, started their vehicle paint and refinishing business, Bodyworx, on Greendykes Industrial Estate in Broxburn. Since opening, the pair have built up a reputation through their own dedication, commitment and hard work. But when they first considered starting up in business, they realised they would require help as neither of them had experience of self-employment.

"Margaret Darling, our business adviser at Business Gateway, was a great help in guiding us through the process. She directed us towards other support bodies such as the PSYBT funds to help us get our business off the ground."

The business is going from strength to strength, with the two having made a name for themselves in the prestige/performance vehicle refinishing market.
