Business Rates Poundage Update
- Ministers have announced their intention to equalise the Scottish non-domestic poundage rate with that of England. This will be achieved in 2007-08.

- Non-domestic rates are levied on the basis of a national rate poundage multiplied by the rateable value of each non-domestic subject on the valuation roll.

Customer Consultation
In response to feedback from our customer survey, which was issued in February 2005, we have introduced an additional payment date option for direct debit payers. If you are unhappy about our service or we have not done something we said we would, please let us know. Problems can arise without our knowledge so we welcome the opportunity to put matters right.
