Residential Property
West Lothian offers a wide variety of localities, from rural villages, to historic towns such as Linlithgow, or the new town of Livingston. The area's attractions as an affordable, accessible location with many amenities are being appreciated by a growing number of residents - the number of households is predicted to increase at over twice the Scottish average over the next decade. The demand for housing is being met by a host of new developments across West Lothian - over 8,000 new homes are scheduled to be built over the next ten years at sites including the Heartlands Devlopment in Whitburn and the Core Devlopment Areas of East Calder, Armadale and Winchburgh. To find out more visit the West Lothian Local Plan website.
