West Lothian Economic Partnership is organising a celebration dinner to mark West Lothian’s selection as Scotland’s representative in this year’s Enterprising Britain competition, making the area Scotland’s First Capital of Enterprise.
The Celebrating Enterprise 2005 dinner will be held at at Houstoun House Hotel, Uphall on 27 April, paying tribute to local companies who have achieved success over the last three years. A new publication sponsored by West Lothian Council to recognise our Local Heroes will be launched at the dinner. The keynote address, 'Confidence in Business', will be by Bill McFarlan, an experienced and successful journalist, TV broadcaster, author and businessman. His company, The Broadcasting Business, provides media training throughout Scotland and further afield, his book 'Drop the Pink Elephant' is a business best seller. Bill's campaign for Confident Scotland has the backing of business, politicians and broadcasters. The evening includes Cocktail Reception, Guest Speakers, Dinner including glass of wine.
