EWOS build new warehouse

Mon, Jun 04 2012

EWOS, the Westfield based supplier of feed and nutrition for the international aquaculture industry, is to construct a new warehouse and office facility.

The new 4,200 m2 steel frame storage and distribution warehouse will link into the existing factory facility, and will service the growing international demand for EWOS' innovative products. Representing a significant seven figure investment by the manufacturer, the project also includes a major externals package to create a 4,000 m2 delivery and service yard and the construction of a retaining wall to the site boundary.

Construction firm ISG has developed a robust schedule of works to ensure continuity of operations for EWOS throughout the duration of the project, which is scheduled for completion in October. ISG's Andy Mallice, managing director - Scotland, commented: "This latest win represents a significant addition to our growing client base and further demonstrates our ability to successfully convert opportunities across multiple industry sectors. It's particularly pleasing to support successful and growing businesses with a strong Scottish presence and we are confident that these new facilities will further underpin EWOS' future expansion plans."
