A Linlithgow guest house has been named AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for Scotland 2012 at the AA Bed and Breakfast Awards held at the Royal Horseguards Hotel, London.
The annual event recognises and rewards the excellent service provided by the UK's best B&Bs and Arden Country House was nominated by the AA's team of inspectors who rate over 3000 bed and breakfast establishments. Run by Beth Cruickshank, Arden Country House is set in the grounds of Belsyde House and Farm outside Linlithgow. Simon Numphud, AA Hotel Services manager, said, "We are delighted to be awarding Arden Country House the title of Guest Accommodation of the Year for Scotland this year. "The stunning location and attention to detail provided by Beth make Arden House a worthy winner of the title." Beth Cruickshank said: ?"What a truly wonderful surprise." "It is a real honour that an organisation as prestigious as the AA has acknowledged us for all the hard work and effort that we have put into our B&B. "We are absolutely delighted to receive this award for Scotland."
