Scotrail refurbishing West Lothian stations

Fri, 11 Mar 2011 09:34:03
Addiewell and Fauldhouse stations are to be repainted and refurbished by Scotrail into the new "ScotRail, Scotland's Railway" brand.

The improvements will take place in the next six months as part of Scotrail's station investment programme for 2011.

In the last year West Lothian stations at Linlithgow, Kirknewton, Livingston North and Uphall have also been repainted and rebranded in the new blue and white ScotRail colours. Three brand new stations in West Lothian have also opened in Bathgate, Blackridge and Armadale.

REACT signage has also been fitted at Linlithgow with the pupils of Donaldson’s School particularly in mind.

This latest round of investment means 9 out of West Lothian's 12 railway stations will have had recent improvement works.
