MSP visits Livingston success story

Mon, Aug 30 2010

On Monday 9th August 2010, Livingston MSP Angela Constance visited FST Technologies, an innovative company delivering world-class communications solutions.

FST is a ten year success story; the company started in 2000 and now boasts a turnover of £6M. With 74 full time employees, the local economy is supported through creation of jobs.

The company is rapidly developing its operations, becoming the first in Scotland to have full colour digital print capability - investing £2M in state-of-the-art equipment to meet the growing volume & demands of its customers. Angela supported FST as a local employer and was invited to gain an insight into FST through visiting the site, touring the factory and meeting employees.

The visit saw Angela meeting the Board of Directors before touring the operational areas and observing the new Océ full colour continuous JetStream printer in action. It was explained that in the past 12 months FST has produced over 45 million highly personalised documents for its expanding client base.

Paul Beaumont, Managing Director of FST, said:
"I would like to thank Angela for her continued support and encouragement as FST evolves. Our growth is down to technical innovation and the credibility built through the provision of excellent service and the adoption of a practical approach to solving clients' business requirements. In the future, FST will continue to invest in equipment, technology and skilled resource to meet increasing client demand for colour digital printing and print to electronic migration services."
