Currys expanding in Livingston

Land Securities has struck a deal with Currys to open a new 20,000 sq ft PCWorld/Currys combined concept store, the first of its kind in Scotland and twice the size of the current store.

The store at Almondvale retail park in Livingston, will open in the Autumn.

Dreams, the bed specialist, has also been signed up to take the existing 10,000 sq ft Currys unit.

Dominic O'Rourke, head of retail warehousing for Land Securities, said: "While the market remains challenging, retailers are interested in securing space on good quality parks."

DSG International were advised by Colliers CRE and Hartley Cowley & Co and advised Land Securities.
