Kilts by Lindsay helps with an Extreme Makeover

Mon, Jun 08 2009

Livingston kiltmaker Kilts by Lindsay has created a kilt and casual outfit for American TV star Ty Pennington to wear on his "Extreme Makeover" programme during filming of a recent Scottish episode.

Ty was in Langholm in the Scottish Borders building a project on the village green and Kilts by Lindsay created a kilt and accessories for Ty to wear at the project unveiling.

Kilts by Lindsay was recommended by Fiona Armstrong as custodian of the Armstrong clan in Langholm. The kilt was worn by Ty all day Sunday at the grand opening of the new project.

Owner Lindsay Cross is hoping the American publicity could result in overseas orders when the programme goes out on ABC America later in the year.

For more information on Kilts by Lindsay visit www.kiltsbylindsay.co.uk.
