Local employers are invited to attend an employability forum which will take place on Tuesday 7 October at the Lanthorn Community Education Centre in Livingston.
This is a chance for agencies throughout West Lothian who are involved with employability or training, and for employers, to get together to hear what is happening at a local level and also to generate some valuable discussion. There will be presentations by West Lothian Council?s Locality Planning team and by the More Choices More Chances pilot currently running at Whitburn Academy and Deans Community High School which helps to ensure that all pupils move on to a positive destination when they leave school. Participants in the employability forum will also have the opportunity to take part in a range of workshops which will be offered throughout the morning.
