West Edinburgh Park and Ride

In September 2005 City of Edinburgh Council two new Park and Ride sites to the west of Edinburgh at Ingliston and Hermiston. Parking is free and both sites include staffed terminal buildings, CCTV and toilets.

Hermiston Park + Ride is accessed from the A71, just outside the A720 City Bypass.
Lothian Buses No. 25 serves Hermiston, running to city centre every 10 minutes during the day Monday to Saturday, with 30-minute service evenings and weekends, and an express service, the X25, also running at peak times. As well, Lothian No. 34 runs from Hermiston, routing through Fountainbridge and Tollcross on the way to the city centre.

Ingliston Park + Ride is accessed from Eastfield Road (the road to the airport).
An express bus service, Lothian No. X48, serves this site. The route runs to city centre at least every 15 minutes during the day Monday to Friday, with 20-minute service evenings and at weekends.
