Waste Minimisation & Environment Management

What Help is Available?

The Business Environment Partnership (BEP) can provide FREE assistance to assess your business, conduct analyses Image of Recycling Text and identify opportunities for environmental improvements. These improvements may be in energy efficiency, waste minimisation, water and effluent management, legal compliance or a range of other environmental topics…all of which will have significant benefits to your business. We can also help you implement the recommendations and may be able to identify sources of financial assistance to pay for the improvements.

Why Look at Environmental Issues in Your Business?

West Lothian businesses have saved over £600,000 per annum through better environmental management. Environmental issues affect every business. Every business uses energy and resources and produces waste. Whatever your business does, it will benefit from improving its environmental management. Significant cost savings can be achieved from better energy, water and waste management and improved compliance and market advantage can be gained from improving your awareness of environmental issues. Increasing utility costs, resource costs, environmental legislation and public awareness mean that addressing these issues will keep you one step ahead of your competitors.

How We Can Work With You

If you would like assistance to improve your environmental management we can visit you to discuss the way ahead. A specialist Environmental Adviser will then focus on conducting a general Environmental Review or can focus on specific issues relevant to your business such as Energy Efficiency, Waste Minimisation, Water and Effluent Management and Policy Development. Our other programmes can also assist with implementation and more specific environmental projects.
