Ambitious owner-managers now have THREE opportunities a year to take part in Britain's biggest programme for independent businesses.

21 April 2008 - BGP - the Business Growth & Development Programme - at Cranfield School of Management will run a third time, in September 2006. BGP is designed specifically for talented owner-managers who want to accelerate their firms' growth - and develop themselves as leaders. It has run every year since 1988 and over 700 businesses have taken part. Many, like Cobra Beer and Hotel Chocolat, have gone on to become significant players in their markets.

In 2005 BGP expanded from one to two programmes. Now it's time to grow again. Already 100 owner-managers have accepted places on the 2006 programmes - and the demand continues!!

Says BGP Programme Director Gerard Burke: "We are responding to the demand in the market from ambitious owner-managers who believe they can achieve more. We can help them accelerate their rate of growth - and build their own skills as business leaders. Businesses that take part are already outstripping their peers - and after BGP their sales and profits both grow faster."

BGP September 2006 starts on 15th September. It is designed for businesses that are at least three years old and have a turnover of between £500,000 and £20 mn.

To introduce the programme, Cranfield runs a series of FREE briefing seminars in June and July, at Cranfield and in central London.
